Description

The well laid out accommodation makes a great base for those wishing to explore the city on foot and is ideal for families or groups of friends travelling together. The property has a large, sunny living/dining room decorated in attractive neutral tones with comfortable leather sofas arranged around a large screen TV with DVD Player. An extending dining table at one end of the room seats 6 people in comfort. The apartment has an attractive modern kitchen with cream and beech units. It is equipped with oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washer drier and there is plenty of cutlery and crockery glass and cookware. A breakfast bar with stools is provided for informal dining purposes.
The property is wheelchair accessible - but please contact us first to discuss your requirements.
The three comfortable bedrooms sleep up to 5 people. The master bedroom has the benefit of zip and link beds which can be arranged as a super king or a twin on request and also has an en-suite shower room with wash hand basin and WC. A second good size double bedroom is situated to the front of the building and there is a third single bedroom to the rear. All three bedrooms benefit from fitted wardrobes offering plenty of good storage space.

A generously proportioned family bathroom with a bath and shower over, wash hand basin and WC completes the accommodation.

Private car parking in a gated car park to the rear of the building provides an allocated space for one car.

To access the apartment by car the approach needs to be from Howe Street, into St Vincent Street, left into St Stephens Street and almost immediately right into West Silvermills Lae

Stockbridge is one of Edinburgh's most attractive residential areas with a wealth of good local facilities such as the newly renovated Glenogle Baths, the green open spaces of Inverleith Park and the Royal Botanical Gardens which are a delight at any time of year. The banks of the Water of Leith provide a lovely spot for either a stroll or a longer walk. Stockbridge offers an exceptional range of local shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and cafes and the delights of the city centre are only a 15 minute walk away; though should you tire of walking there are excellent bus services to Princes Street and the Royal Mile.
